The flap can be moved with sufficient force and easily
be lifted to facilitate the laser ablation. In instances where the flap is sticky, I
can use the forcep to lift the part of the flap that is mobile and with a second
blunt dissector release adhesions to carefully separate the cap. I do this with
confidence knowing I wouldn’t tear or macerate the flap and clear it for the final
laser ablation.
